Account Coordinator

Working on a permanent Monday to Friday 9-5 contract, you will be responsible for making sure any discrepancies in customer orders are dealt with. In a friendly customer service office, you will ensure all data is entered correctly and liaise with retailers to ensure product is received. Who is our client? Our client is a leading 3PL. They work across chilled, deep chill, ambient and frozen, picking around 3.3 million cases per week and delivering around 130,000 pallets of food & drink products into UK grocery retailers each week.

Job Duties for the Account Coordinator:

  • Ensure all data is accurately recorded - using Excel and bespoke systems
  • Investigate any discrepancies in orders - be this late delivery, incorrect quantities of products, absent products
  • Liaise with Customer Service and Warehouse and Transport teams to ensure stock has been dispatched or returned
  • Investigate and process product claims referred to in the contractual agreement
  • Liaise with Retailers to obtain confirmation of receipt
  • Produce regular reports for management and retail customers
  • Ensuring a high level of Customer Service is provided at all times
  • Ensure a strong working relationship with colleagues to aid any investigations in to previous events
  • Promote strong working relationships with customers to aid the resolution of customer queries

Requirements for Account Coordinator:

  • Strong PC skills are necessary on Excel, Word and Outlook- training will be provided on key systems such Microlise, ESP, GTS, PDM, Red Prairie, One View, Qlikview
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills when dealing with customers
  • Previous experience working within either transport or warehouse office or customer service experience
  • Ability to remain calm and methodical when working to strict targets
